Welcome to Event by Niki. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Event by Niki provides planning and decoration services for small, intimate events, such as birthdays, bachelorette parties, baby showers, and private celebrations. The details of each event are confirmed in writing before the event date.

A written confirmation and a deposit are required to secure your booking. The deposit amount and full payment schedule will be outlined in your proposal or invoice. Full payment must be made prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Invoicing is managed by our accounting partner, UKKO.fi. All invoices will be sent to clients directly from UKKO.fi on our behalf.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event may be eligible for a partial refund (minus any costs already incurred). Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event are non-refundable. If the event must be cancelled due to force majeure (see section 6), we will offer to reschedule or issue a partial refund based on costs already incurred.

Small changes can be made up to 14 days before your event, subject to availability. Significant changes (e.g., date, location, size of event) may result in additional fees or may not be possible depending on scheduling and stock.

Clients are responsible for: Providing accurate event information (time, place, number of guests, etc). Ensuring access to the venue at agreed-upon times Informing venue management of our setup and decoration needs. Ensuring the safety of all decorative items throughout the event

Clients are responsible for any loss or damage caused to our rented or provided items during the event.
Costs for repairs or replacements will be invoiced after the event if necessary.

We may recommend or coordinate with external vendors (e.g. florists, caterers, venues), but we are not liable for the performance, actions, or services provided by third parties.

We may take photographs of the event setup for portfolio, website, and social media use. If you prefer not to have your event featured publicly, please notify us in writing before the event date.

We respect your privacy. Any personal information you provide (such as name, email, event details) will only be used for communication and service delivery.
Your data will never be shared with third parties without your consent, in accordance with GDPR and Finnish privacy laws.

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, pandemics, strikes, or transportation issues.

All designs, concepts, and original visual materials created by Event by Niki remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising will be handled in the Finnish court system.
